In celebration of Asian Heritage Month and Mother’s Day, Chinese American Museum, the only museum in the nation’s capital dedicated to Chinese Americans, is privileged to host a book debut and signing event for Rose Hong, a Chinese American author, TV producer and host, for her newly published book, “Vanished” – Antiquities of China: The Heirloom Seal of the Realm.”

Rose Hong newly published “Vanished” is a fiction about the looting of Chinese antiquities in 1860 by eight European powers. These priceless Chinese royal antiquities are being showcased at top European and American museums.  Several heists have been carried out secretly… Among the missing items was a priceless Seal of the Realm.
